Announcing more nominations …………
Dominion Salt in partnership with Vector has been nominated in the Innovation category of the EECA Business Awards 2018, and we can now confirm we are finalists in not just one but two categories!
Our nomination for Innovation is a result of a joint venture with Vector and our Lake Grassmere site, which will allow Dominion Salt to store excess energy from our Wind Turbine to a Tesla battery for later use, meaning an estimated 75% of energy used at Lake Grassmere will come from on-site.
Additional to this our CEO – Shane Dufaur has been nominated and named as a finalist for the Energy and Emissions Leadership Award. This award recognises the achievements of a person who is demonstrating leadership in energy efficiency, emissions reduction and/or renewable energy in their organisation, industry or field of expertise, to the benefit of their organisation, community or sector.
